History  I bought this for my collection about a year ago. All the restoration has been done, Caps, 3 Prong Line Cord, new control knobs (If you want the old knobs just ask), bias set and Negative Feedback mod. I left the original tubes in it from when I bought the head. It just has a more mellow richness to the tone that I did not want to lose. Was 1968 the difference?

Describe your item's overall condition in detail.  The Tolex has dings and scuff marks (please see pictures), the grillcloth has a few small holes, the faceplate and Sunn nameplate have a few scratches and scuffs, and the metal trim pieces have some scratches and minor corrosion---this should be expected for a head that is 43yrs old, but this head has the vintage sound that everyone looks for.

Repairs needed  You could replace the grill cloth, Tolex, face and name plates, and metal trim pieces if you want it to look brand new. Other than that, no evident repairs needed.

Other features/info  This has been my Reference Head that I compared to all the Sunn heads I have owned. Now you have the opportunity to have the best Sunn Studio PA Head I have played. I am selling my Sunn collection to help my family and this is the last Sunn Studio PA I have. It has a deep sound and raw power.

This amp can roar, the notes are fat and full sounding. Very few amps give you that large note sound where you can feel it. Modern amps are loud, thin and metallic sounding. Not this amp. Put an aggressive P90 pick-up in front like Leslie West, and you will fill the room with that growl that we all look for out of a Sunn amp.

Put a foot pedal in front of this and brace yourself for that concert feeling. When you find that tone you have been searching for it will inspire you to play your best.

Description   The Sunn Studio PA Head is the little brother of the Sunn Coliseum PA Head. The amp in excellent shape, I have never seen one for sale in this great of condition.
