Here we have a wonderful original 1956 GIBSON ES-225 with the following changes/alterations: No breaks, back of the neck only has been professionally refinished, newer Kluson tuners (no extra holes), one pro repaired strap button hole on the neck side of the body, body finish is 100% original.. the entire wiring harness and pickups are a transplant from a 1961 ES-225, knobs and pickguard are relic-ed replacements, and the fingerboard has been professionally re-fretted... BUT, the neck is straight and this guitar set up, plays, and sounds GREAT!! Looks and sounds like an $8000 original ... wonderful guitar for any player looking for a great sounding American Original at an everyman price!!! Ships in a newer hard case... |
